Aurélien Routens, Carpe Diem. EP1 Canada

Big mountain rider Aurélien Routens has just launched his new web serie.
Below is the first episode of his freeriding adventures, filmed in White Water & Revelstoke, Canada.

We talked with him to know more about this first episode.

Last winter I had the chance to go to Canada for the Freeride World Tour.
I went a few days before the event to enjoy the country and try to make a video report on the White Water station. Mentalities are quite different over there and I have been fortunate to meet again with some old friends keen on hiking. Actually everyone has a splitboard in Canada. It’s like a national sport. But I also had the chance to get to a spot with plentiful snow and enjoying sunny days during my whole stay, which is pretty unusual in Canada.
I mainly decided to make ​​this web series to share these moments with those who cannot travel, and to motivate others to discover some new spots.

So I hope that watching this episode will motivate you to go discovering Canada, as it is said to have the greatest snow on earth.
